Creating these types of cartoons is quite a process.  I utilized photographs as references, the good ole’ light table and tracing paper system, and Photoshop for color and rendering.  Putting the unique elements together to create a cohesive image is the most exciting part.  With this illustration I used a series of  ”paint” brushes in order to simulate a true media in the background.  Once again my hat is off to the makers of Photoshop! This process took about 11 hours.
