Purpose
Peel began as a design company (er…one guy–me) back in 2005. My goals was to offer graphic design services to small companies…helping them to establish a strong, positive presence in their area of expertise. I found much success and grew tremendously. When the economy turned south in 09 I felt led (or desperate) to change pace and entered the white collar 9-5 world. I work for a fantastic architectural and engineering firm doing what I do best being creative! My purpose for Peel has shifted and my focus has changed. I am no longer trying to build a successful company but rather express my creativity in ways that satisfy both my desire to create and the relationships around me. it’s quite oragnic! with that said I still am in business, but availability is incredibly limited. I focus on several non-profits and take small, exciting jobs as they come. I have realized that it’s not about quantity, but quality! ( thank you Pastor J.R. Ruiz).

About Me
My name is Phillip Ortiz and I am the owner, director, designer, photographer, illustrator, and artist for Peel. that’s right…I do it all. I reside in the Midwest with my beautiful wife of 7 years, my daughter, and my son!  I love creativity…I breathe it, I eat it…I am wrapped up in it! This website/blog is my means to express that creativity, to have a creative impact, and to share my mind with anyone who wants to look in it. ( I also want to show a portfolio of the creative work I have done and am currently working on…but that’s a lot less romantic.) So enjoy and visit often!
